Do you want to be able to say you used your life to make a difference in the world around you? On the people around you? I do.
Today I discuss the main difference between success and significance and what great leaders do that many good leaders don’t.
If you missed any of our previous sessions, you can catch up at the links in the Resources section below.
Game Plan
Practice these two things this week. Write down how it felt, and how it was received by the other person.
- Ask questions. The best question is “Can you tell me more?”
- Listen with the intent to understand not to give your opinion. What’s your opinion-to-question ratio?
If you’re interested in learning more about our new one-on-one leadership intensive, Leading With Significance, where we talk about this quality and go into greater depth in your leadership development, use our Contact Us form to let me know and we’ll be in touch.
