Every year I choose one word that serves as my theme for the year. This word isn’t a replacement for my yearly goals but rather a complement to them.
This past year in 2019 I chose the word “redeem,” which basically means to “buy back or exchange.”
Over the next two sessions, I am going to recap and grade myself on how I did when it comes to redeeming my past experiences and present realities. These sessions are going to be a video journal where you get to be a fly on the wall as I verbally process this past year.
Game Plan
Over the next couple days, take some time to reflect on this past year. Ask yourself:
- What are one or two lessons that you have learned in 2019?
- Who do you need to share that with? Who needs to hear it? Who can you encourage with what you have learned?
