The Future of My Blog

Life is all about seasons. Each season presents its own unique opportunities and challenges. For me, I just entered into a new season as I changed jobs about 6 weeks ago. As I’ve evaluated the last month and a half, I’m excited with this opportunity to be on the ground level of a brand new organization and help build a foundation and establish culture. It’s going to be a great experience.

You may be wondering what this new job has to do with my blog. I’ve written before that “if you try to do everything, you end up accomplishing nothing.” Life is also about priorities. For me, my first two priorities are faith and family/friends. Those priorities will never change. After that though, I have other priorities and goals. One of those is this blog. (You can see more of my goals here) I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be able share with you lessons I’m learning as a leader and follower with Christ. I hope this blog has been as beneficial to your growth as it has been to mine. However, I have realized that in order for me to be effective in my new role for this first year, I need to create some more margin, which means making some sacrifices in those goals that I want to accomplish. Therefore, I am going to put a pause on this blog. I will not be posting any content over the next 9 months. I fully intend to resume blogging around October. On a limited basis, I will still be posting via social media. You can follow me there to keep up with what’s going on.

I am already looking forward to the fall and sharing with you the lessons that I’ve learned.

Hope the new job is going well. I found you via Twitter when searching Internet Business Mastery. I hit pause on my blog about 9 months ago and am getting back to it. …also started a new job in January like you :)

Hope it’s all going well for you. Be blessed in this season and in all you do!
